The extension runs locally in your browser on chatgpt.com. It reads the visible page structure only to create a navigation list of your questions in the current conversation.

Network Requests

The extension may contact our compatibility configuration URL to download a small JSON file used to help the extension keep working if ChatGPT changes its page layout.

This compatibility request does not include your ChatGPT conversation text.

Third Parties

ChatGPT Chat Navigator does not send your chat content to third-party analytics, advertising services, or AI services.
